David Radford, a Director of Overdale House Limited, was for many years the Senior Partner of the Leicester firm of Chartered Accountants, Thomas May & Co, until the firm was acquired by Grant Thornton in 2012. He was a Director of Grant Thornton until 31^st December 2013. In recent years David considered that his membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales was not necessary and this lapsed with effect from 1^st January 2023.

David has been advising businesses for many years and in addition has a wealth of knowledge and experience in providing tax planning for both businesses and individuals.

David provides an expertise in Inheritance Tax planning, which includes ensuring that Wills are drawn up in a tax-efficient manner, and is happy to be named as an Executor in Wills and when required to assist in administering estates in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

David is happy to act as a Trustee as there is often an advantage of having a professional Trustee to ensure fairness and that the wishes of the Settlor are adhered to.
